Dennis B. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

After I fell off my roof, I went to Torrance Memorial emergency department. They did a little and recommended an orthopedic MD that said I would need my shoulder cut open and there was no alternative. A friend (retired MD) suggested I get a second opinion from Dr Borden. He outlined a 3-part process (surgery, physical therapy and daily exercises). He did the surgery via arthroscopy and things proceeded as he said they would — now, after 5 months, I have complete range of motion and am re-building strength in the shoulder. I expect a complete recovery (pretty darned good outcome for 75 year old man who shouldn’t have been on the roof in the first place).
